First Washington seeks to invest in high quality retail properties located in major metropolitan areas throughout the United States and abroad. Strong preference in the United States is for supermarket and/or drug store anchored shopping centers in densely populated trade areas. First Washington will also acquire unanchored shopping centers in supply-constrained markets.

- Markets with high barriers to entry
- Medium to high population and income demographics
- High traffic roadways and intersections
Geographic Focus
Target markets include all major metropolitan areas throughout the United States with CMSA populations generally in excess of 1 million. In addition, First Washington will consider interesting retail related opportunities outside the United States.
Transaction Size
- $5 million+ (no maximum)
- Individual properties or portfolio purchases
Investment Structure
- All cash buyer with no financing contingencies
- 30 day closings
- First Washington will acquire properties subject to existing debt
- Joint ventures (existing properties and developmental ventures), presales, long-term ground leases, mezzanine loans or any other structure that provides an opportunity to invest in quality retail properties.
