BETHESDA, MD. – First Washington Realty (FWR), a national real estate investment and management company, announces the acquisition of Olive Chapel Village in Apex, North Carolina and Corner at Wescott in Summerville, South Carolina. This acquisition adds over 200,000 square feet of shopping center real estate to FWR’s growing portfolio.

Olive Chapel Village is in the flourishing Raleigh submarket of Apex, NC.  Anchored by Lowes Foods, the shopping center offers a dynamic tenant mix of national brands while also offering everyday necessity retail and local restaurants.  In close proximity to The Research Triangle, the larger trade area is anchored by three major universities and numerous technology firms.
