AUSTIN, TX – West Woods is pleased to announce that fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant and culinary brand, CAVA, will be opening a new location at the shopping center in the heart of Westlake Hills and Rollingwood. The DC-based company specializes in customizable Mediterranean dishes including salads, grain bowls, pita wraps and soups.
CAVA was founded in 2011 by childhood friends Ted Xenohristos, Ike Grigoropoulos, and Executive Chef Dimitri Moshovitis. CAVA was created to bring modern, authentic, and vibrant Mediterranean food to a wider audience, using ingredients made from scratch in-house every day. The menu is specially created to deliver an ultra-personalized experience for each and every guest – featuring over 50 offerings and 58 million possible combinations of bold ingredients and flavors. CAVA is committed to working with best-in-class food partners including local grower and rancher partners like 44 Farms in Cameron, Texas. In Austin, CAVA has partnered with Kellie’s Baking Company to offer a cookie which will be available at CAVA locations.

The approximately 3,000 square foot restaurant will occupy the end cap space on the northeast corner closest to Bee Caves Road. It is scheduled to open in summer of 2018. Renovations began January 23, 2018 and include plans for a covered outdoor patio area.
In 2017 West Woods completed an intensive year-long process to improve the shopping experience for customers by modernizing the retail environment, investing in deferred maintenance and executing an exterior renovation to create an appealing atmosphere for shopping, dining and relaxing.
