Our team recently had the opportunity to volunteer at Martha’s Table, a nonprofit organization that provides healthy food, education, and support to local families. In groups of five and six, FWR members spent the morning chopping vegetables to make meals for underprivileged children in and around D.C. As owners of grocery anchored shopping centers, FWR understands the value of food access for every community. These mornings of volunteering were made possible because of FWR’s charitable leaders and their dedication to FWR Cares, a program created to incorporate community outreach into our company culture.
